FAQ

Questions, answered

Which AI assistants does it work with?

ChatGPT and Claude. In Claude you add it as a custom connector. In ChatGPT you create an app in Developer mode.

Which channels can it schedule to?

LinkedIn, X, Threads, Facebook, Mastodon and Bluesky. Instagram and Pinterest posts need an image, so schedule those from the Distribution.ai app. YouTube works as a source for posts, not as a place to post.

Will it post anything without asking me?

No. It never publishes right away. Every post is scheduled and appears on your calendar first, and workspaces that need approval keep that step.

Which plan do I need?

Reading your content and calendar works on any plan. Creating and scheduling posts needs an active subscription or trial.

What do I need before I connect?

A Distribution.ai account, at least one connected social channel, and a posting schedule set up under Settings.

How do I disconnect it?

In Distribution.ai, go to Settings → Connected apps → Revoke. The connection stops working on the next request.

What is MCP?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants like ChatGPT and Claude connect to other apps. You don't need to know how it works to use it. Just add the connector URL https://app.distribution.ai/mcp.
